Word of the Day: Tour

I was supposed to take my hospital tour today. However, I was too tired to get out of bed today. So, I missed it. Oh well-at least I got some rest ^_^ I'm definitely much more appreciative of the little things (like rest) so I'll just reschedule the tour. Pretty uneventful day otherwise.

All Star weekend-just finished watching the 3 point contest and slam dunk competition. It isn't as magical as it used to be, when I was a kid. Can't wait until some really talented dunkers come along and revive the competition.

Word of the Day: Weekend

To say that I'm glad the weekend is here would be a gross understatement. I need to rest up-my body is feeling completely drained.

Today marks the beginning of week 31. I have only 2 months until the munchkin gets here :) So exciting! My tummy is huge and has some stretch marks on it. Guess I'll never be a swimsuit model now . . .

My hair is getting super-thick by the day. I hope I can keep this density. I love having thicker hair.

I still need more maternity clothes-my grandmother agreed to buy me a couple of things! Yay! It'll be nice to have pants that fit properly again.

Word of the Day: Exhaustion

So, so, so tired today. I felt like I was ran over by an 18-wheeler. I would put a picture up, showing you the face of exhaustion, but I don't want to scare anyone away LOL!

I have another topic that I want to write about, and I'll be posting that in a few days. Today, however, is all about getting some rest. This baby is taking it (whatever "it" is) out of me.

Word of the Day: Pants

I'm in desperate need of some more pants. I'm finally growing out of my jeans. I wouldn't care about my spreading belly, if it weren't for the fact that the zippers on my pants pinch my skin. Time to get some comfy pants . . .

Thirty, as in, 30 weeks down, 10 more to go :) I'm so eager for the little one to get here. Hurry up, April 26th :)

Beautiful, stylish, talented. A voice that was otherworldy. Maybe now she will finally be remembered for what matters: her amazing contribution to music.

Word of the Day: Pasteles

My coworker is from Puerto Rico, and is the father of 4 children, so, obviously, he knows about pregnant women and their cravings. So, his mom made some pasteles, and he brought me a few to try. So good! I ended up buying a dozen from her.

I'm including a recipe for it. I won't be making it any time soon (it takes WAY too much time) but at least I have some frozen ones that I can enjoy whenever I like. The recipe is vegetarian, but the version I've eaten has chicken in it.
